Roman Yegorov, Olympic Swimmer: Retired freestyle swimmer from Russia, who won several medal as a member of the Freestyle Relay Team (4x100m and 4x200m) during the mid-1990s. He competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics for his native country, winning two silver medals in the relay events.
Roman Volod'kov, Olympic Diver: Ukraine diver, who represented his native country in three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1996. He is best known for winning an individual bronze medal at the European Championships in 1995.
Roman Tam, Singer: Known by the stage name Lo man, Roman was a renowned cantopop singer. He is regarded as the "Godfather of Cantopop". Cantopop draws its influence not only from other forms of Chinese music, but from a variety of international styles including jazz, rock and roll, rhythm and blues, electronic music, western pop music and others.\n\nRoman Tam died in October of 2002 at the age of 52. He died from liver cancer.

In 1969, Roman's pregnant wife, Sharon Tate, was murdered by the infamous Manson Family. In 1977, he plead guilty to "unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor" for having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl. He fled the country and has not been back to the United States since.
Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich, Entrepreneur: A Russian Jewish billionaire and the main owner of the private investment company Millhouse LLC. According to Forbes magazine, as of 11 March 2009, he had a net worth of US$8.5 billion, ranking him as the 51st richest person in the world.
